Missouri Girls Basketball Top 20 ratings by Class 3/15/2020

Congratulations to Walnut Grove, East Buchanan and Strafford on winning classes One through Three this weekend.  I wish the best for the rest of the class four and five teams.  Stay safe and healthy.  Missouri is the ONLY high school association in the USA that is still conducting their state championship schedule. Here are my top 20 for each class.  I will publish all the teams after the class four and five finals, assuming they still take place. You will find my class four and five championship picks over at: https://gramas2020.blogspot.com/2020/03/missouri-girls-predictions-and-top-20.html 2019-2020 MISSOURI GIRLS BASKETBALL RANKINGS                                                                                     - Top  20 by CLASSES 3/15/2020   CLASS ONE Rank Team Class District Rating 1 Walnut Grove 1 7 125.0 2 Platte Valley/Jefferson (Conception Junction) w/ So. Missouri Girls HS Basketball Predictions 3/15/2020

I had more luck over on the Missouri boys side of HS ratings than I did with the girls, as I have spent several years refining the boys ratings.  I picked 58% of all games this past week but missed badly on classes one, two and three.  I had more luck with four and five, where I probably invested more calculating time. Unfortunately for me, I obviously irritated an obnoxious Walnut Grove fan who tweeted an cruel and ugly comment back.  I should have looked at their rich tradition of girls basketball success rather than my paltry ratings calculations from this year.  I don't know why we have so many politically incorrect crap on Twitter now a days.  Oh, wait!  We have bad role models running our country....LOL. Enough political commentary.  We were lucky to get these championship games in, 49 other states cancelled their high school play-offs.  I hope it was a good decision anyway. Class four looks like an Incarnate Word vs. Cape Notre Dame final and it should be a cliff-hang

Missouri Girls HS basketball ratings and predictions

As I mentioned on the boys blog, the Covid-19 virus is raising havoc around the world and has a strong foothold in the US to cause multiple professional, college and high school sports championships to be cancelled.  MSHSAA has decided to move ahead with limited audience and I hope all work out for everyone.  Stay safe and healthy, please. Here are my latest updated Girls ratings and some predictions for girls games.  I hit 88% of the boys but only 55% of the girls so far.  Missed entirely on class one.
